Initially a drummer from a very young age, I decided I wanted to try something different. French horns and a mouth full of braces was not a good mix. Then I heard a band called Renaissance. The bassist for that band was amazing and I decided I wanted to play like Jon Camp. I started on an upright bass in the school orchestra and just took to the instrument like nothing else I had ever tried. Mom and Dad bought an electric bass and amp and then I never looked back. The School Concert Band, Jazz Band, Stage Band, school musicals and some outside bands with buddies. Once I got to college, life started to get in the way of my playing and it was 20 years before I started playing in a band again. A chance conversation with some co workers resulted in the creation of Redfield. A very driving modern rock band. We stayed together for a year and a half but with the departure of one of the guitarists and a growing restlessness of the drummer, we decided to fold that tent. Mike Panessa (who I consider one of my best friends) and I decided we wanted to try a more groove/funk/dance/goodtime project and Seven green is what we came up with!
