You have found the site for the most exciting band to hit the Rochester, NY music scene in sometime. The coming together of Mike and Jeff and creating a band where the important thing is the groove. Bass and drums form a solid rhythmic foundation for the guitars to sing and soar. We are influenced by 70's funk, Latin rhythms and a little bit of humor, just to scratch the surface. We hope to create music that is fun and danceable.

Mike comes from a family of creative types and musicians. He's played nearly every style and genre of music.
Schooled in Jazz theory and play by ear ethos, he constantly strives to play in the zone with unique melodic and rhythmic twists.

Schooled as a sax player, Jeff picked up guitar in college and never looked back. He is the propusive adhesive that holds the band together with precisely arranged solos and dead on rhythm comping. He has also become the bands audiographer and recording Yoda.
Bob Reed
Bass, Backing vocals
A guitarists by trade, Bob hopped on bass when the band
needed him to and has come up to speed quickly. A dedicated player, Bob makes sure he's locked into the groove so the music can soar and the booties can shake.
Zach Reed
Drums, Backing Vocals
Zach is a classically trained percussionist by trade but he could have just as easily been a bassist or cellist. He has an inate sense of the getting deep in the pocket and locking into a groove. He also has an incredibly playful and adventurous approach that pushes 7G into new areas of groove.
